Best knives I've ever had

Love my magic knives I have 3 sizes now, I couldn't do without them in the kitchen. Best ever.

Great knife, mum has had one for years, so I decided to get one. This is my go to knife and great for everything!

I am very pleased with the knife and it has a great performance. However, the sharpner changes the edge (angle is too large) and it decreases the cutting perfromance. I now use a sharpening stone and I do not use the Magic Knife sharpener that does not seem to work very well.

The 8" Magic Knife is a dream to use. It's razor sharp and glides through meat and vegetables effortlessly. It's an indispensable tool for any professional chef and also for keen home cooks. Treat it with respect and it will look after you with smooth, silky slices! Stephen Bennett

i bought one of the big knifes at the royal cornwall show and was so pleased with it, i enede up buying a full set and i always tell people what a great knife they are

Great Knives, easy to clean and sharpen, light to use

When I first purchased this knife I thought it was the answer to all my chopping and slicing problems. It sliced through bread, meat, veg etc like a dream. However, in reality, when it has been sharpened it is fabulous, but unfortunately the sharpness does not last for very long at all. I seem to be continually sharpening it. It has really disappointed me and not been the knife that was described to me when I bought it.

This is the 2nd set of knives I’ve purchased, absolutely fabulous. Always stay sharp and so easy to use.

I have been using these knifes for 4 years + and they are great, I had 1 knife that broke and customer service was fantastic and a replacement was sent out very quickly. The guarantee is a great benefit. I would highly recommend these knifes and a great company to deal with.

I absolutely love my magic knife. It makes cutting things so much easier and is just as easy to use with large vegetables as it is with cherry tomatoes. I bought the small knife too but always just reach for my 8” knife. I highly recommend it too for those with poor grips and anyone who has arthritis in their hands as not as much pressure is required as with a standard knife.

My third 5" knife has just broken in what I consider to be a dangerous way. In Nov 2016 I bought a set of knives at NEC Christmas Exhibition. Eleven months later, the 5" one broke, the handle coming away from the blade. Twenty-five months later the replacement one broke in the same manner. To be fair this was replaced free of charge. However, the third one I have now (the second replacement) has broken after 13 months. In the previous two cases I was cutting a soft material when it broke, however this time I was cutting a large carrot. The blade shot out, span round and came at me pointed end forward. It just missed my arm and ended up on the floor behind me. From my experience and other comments knife breakage does seem to be a common occurance. This is not the robust product I thought I was purchasing.
