I'd forgotten how great it was to have genuinely sharp knives and after purchasing them (and some locally brewed cider) at the Mold Food Festival, I promptly sliced through my finger when I first tried them. Six months down the line, they are just as sharp but I have learned to keep my fingers out of the way.

Total conversion! My mother has had a large magic knife for years and told me multiple times how wonderful it is. She used it so much, over many years and end up sharpening it to the holes. When I bought her a replacement, I thought I'd treat myself and bought a box set. I have many knives in my kitchen but have not touched any other than the magic knife since buying them. They are amazing, the box set gives so many options on any fruit or vegetable going. One of my favourites is thinly slicing lettuce for salads with the large knife; perfect, accurate slicing every time. The ability to cut a tomato without fuss is a calming event, my veg fighting days are over! Do yourself and your kitchen a favour, buy Magic Knives, they transform your culinary life! I can highly recommend the box set, you'll never look back!

Every house should get a set of these knives. After 30 years of being on my kitchen at home these are the only knIves I have had that are worth it. I slice swede with one hand! There is no reason you should not get these. Really easy to sharpen on their ceramic block.

Box set still performing as it did when we took it out of the box 6 months ago. Guarantee is a reassurance but looks like it's not going to be needed!

We have been impressed with all the knives. The potato peeler is not as easy to use. The scissors are very good.

Disappointed that the black coating on the knife has worn off in a lot of places, especially the middle size knife which is used every day. Certainly not as sharp now as they were when we purchased them, although they have been sharpened with a steel knife sharpener.

We use the magic knife set every day and find they are all still very sharp and of superb quality after six months of continual use

Good knives initially, unfortunately the Blaenau doesn't stay attached to the handle for longer than a few years. Had to replace mine 3 times now under the guarantee. Which cost me in postage. They also go blunt quicker than stated.

The best set of knives I've ever had, their use is endless and totally reliable to do the job in hand. 100% recommend !!

Well i'm surprized I have owned these knives for 6 months, when I purchased them the salesman said I would never need any other knives well i'm sorry I took his word for this as I threw all my other knives out and am not at all happy with these.I don't find they cut at all well and trying to thinly slice meat is out of the question. Sorry but I felt I fell for sales talk and wasted my money on a load of rubbish. I know you won't print this but I feel better getting it of my chest.

Absolutely grilliant and well worth the money

Fabulous - makes soup making so much easier as they glide through root veg. Easy to sharpen and good selection in the box - specially including scissors and peeler

Absolutely love these knifes. I've shown my friends and they love them. They carved the Christmas dinner brilliantly. Would love another set as hate it when there in the dishwasher!!! Cutting bread is amazing. Cutting anything is excellent I'm so pleased I bought them.

I have now bought 2 sets so I can take a set on holiday as I can't do without them now! The knife sharpener comes with me everywhere & I sharpen friends knives ??
