Best knife in my kitchen, would use for almost everything. Going to buy the smaller size and then I really will use for everything. Love this product
The knives are excellent value for money and we find ourselves just using your knives they are very versatile and always ready to hand.
Ultra sharp for precise cutting, even an overripe tomato sliced thinly! So very pleased with my knife…
I found the knife so easy to use and razor sharp, good value for the money and would not like to be wasted it
This is the best knife I have ever owned! It slices so effortlessly through any type of food products, easy to clean and store. Every home should have at least one!!!
Initially I struggled with this knife as the one I was given wasn't sharp. I tried using a metal sharpener and that did not help. Having spoken with Magic Knife, it seems these knives love the ceramic sharpener, and having tried that, this did the trick. Cuts through everything I need easily now. It was just about having the right sharpener! So important. I love it now. It's my favourite knife to carve meat with, cut veg, etc. So glad I purchased it!
I purchased this knife at the Goodwood Food festival last year and truly wished I had taken the offer of the smaller version as well as it is the best and most efficient knife I have ever owned and would highly recommend to any one.
These are just simply the best knives ever, I have not come across anything that I haven’t been able to cut with ease. So very pleased with purchase
Still functioning and doesn't require endless sharpening. It's a great knife and everyone has complimented how smoothly the knife cuts.
I had my knife for my birthday last year and have only had to sharpen it twice with the special sharpener. It cuts through everything like butter, meat, cheese, vegetables etc and makes light work of cooking. I love it and am putting the smaller knife on my birthday list.
Great knives, but you have to sharpen them regularly. The bad news is that these knives do not enjoy longevity. The metal section going into the handle is little more than a centimetre long and is insufficient for a cook’s knife. This is the second knife that we have had and handle has just broken/come away from the blade. The guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on because they deduct the cost of the time that you’ve used the knife and so after three years, you are basically paying for a new knife again.. On a positive note, the knife sharpener has been really useful and we’ve now gone back to using our old knives that we’ve had for almost 50 years. I should add that we were given the opportunity to get a free replacement if we went to one of the shows. However, we live in the Scottish islands and clearly it would cost us more money in fuel and accommodation just to exchange the knife and it would not be cost-effective to do this. In summary, great knives, emulate they last, but they will not last a lifetime.
MAGIC KNIFE 14 February 2024. Hi Linda. We do recommend a light sharpening every two to three months depending on use. As was explained in our emails, the tang goes into the handle for about half the length. It is this tang that has broken, either because of corrosion or using the knife with too much downward pressure rather than the to and fro action they are designed for. We get less than 3% that fail with many people getting ten years or more of use. Your charge for replacing by post was £9.20, substantially less than the website price of £45.00 and your replacment then comes with a full guarantee. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
I do enjoy using a good kitchen knife, so when one of your salesmen at the Shrewsbury Flower show demonstrated it as the best knife I would own, I took a chance and bought one. I am glad I did as it has been lovely to use. Well that’s what I tell our friends that visit.
Excellent, wouldn't be without it. I have lots of knives but its definitely the best.
Marvellous knife. I now have 2 different size knives. Very pleased with the ease that they cut through vegetables
The best knife that I have ever had.
