I have bought three Magic knives (two 8" and one 3") over the years but only only have one left. The problem? The weld between the blade and the part which is inside the handle has snapped while in use (cutting Cheddar cheese in both cases, so nothing extreme). Unfortunately I cannot upload a photo. The last one broke a day or two ago. As my knives are kept sharp, this could have been a nasty accident, so be careful if using an older knife. Apart from these incidents, the knives cut very well; the cheese was much easier to cut with it because it didn't stick to the blade.

Bought the 8” knife at the NEC show in February 2025. We’re skeptical at first but we should not have had any concerns. This knife does the business - just watch your fingers! Very easy to use and cuts well. Downside? Wish we had bought the 5” version as well!

Still cutting brilliantly. I use it several times a day and it is just as sharp as when I first had it. I haven’t had to sharpen it at all so far.

This is honestly the best knife I have ever owned! It is perfect for chopping, slicing and dicing - in fact, the only other knife one would need is a carving knife!

Absolutely fabulous knives. Bought a set 10 years ago and have replaced them recently because use I wanted another set. They came with a knife sharpener which I use on other knives I have. These are by far the best set I’ve ever had. My daughter bought a different set of knives when she got married lasted a couple of years at best!!

We brought a magic knife set at the Caravan Show this year February 23rd. The knife was great and did cut up so much easier. Sadly the knife has broken only after only 4 months. Sadly I am unable to find the receipt so can not get a replacement. The way the large knife broke away from the handle was dangerous. So no would not recommend as poor workmanship, and definitely don't last 10 years.

We have several of these knives, excellent quality, easy to use and keep clean. Always store them.in the original box dor safety and longevity. These knives make chopping veg very easy. Highly recommended to friends and family.

I purchased my magic knife at a local show two years ago, I can't fault it for performance but while preparing a salad a few days ago the tang snapped rendering the knife useless, it's the only complaint I have and suspect it was down to a design oversight, the handle needs to be sealed

These knives are amazing, I thought once I received them they wouldn’t work the same as when I tried them originally, but they slice through vegetables with such ease, this makes a tremendous difference for someone with arthritis. Can’t rate them highly enough.

Excellent knife so good we bought 2 sets (8 and 5" ) one for home and one for our touring caravan.. Keeps its sharpness with the help of the ceramic sharpener. Would thoroughly recommend them
