I love my knife and use it regularly for cutting vegetables halving bread rolls.
We use our 3 inch Magic Knife more than any other size and would recommend it without hesitation. The blade is excellent, keeping sharp and is a dream to use.
I bought this knife and the knife sharpener at a Food Fair at Hampton Court. I am so pleased I did and wouldn’t be without them now. The knife is so useful for chopping everything neatly from onions to cheese. The knife sharpener is so neat and I was able to get rid of an ugly old one that was taking up valuable drawer space - this is so compact & actually works.

Not totally convinced im on my second knife the coating on the blade seems to be wearing away again! Showing silver instead of black very patchy! Lovely when new & very sharp.. Not sure I'd buy another ??
22 February 2026 MAGIC KNIFE. Hi Patricia. The Teflon does wear off in time but this does not affect the performance of the knives. The wear is accelerated if the knives are put in a dishwasher which may cause flaking, in which case a scouring followed by a light sharpening will put things right. Cheers, Phil & Lesley
